Sound financial management is a non-negotiable principle for the KZN CMD. It is important for the organisation to keep running costs as low as possible to be able to spend most of the funding in direct service delivery. Financial statements and systems are audited annually.

Sources of Income
More than 90% of all income of KZN CMD is received from donations. The government department of social development and the churches in KZN are major donors. The developmental approach of the organisation is in line with the church’s and government’s focus on upliftment, growth and development of communities.

Corporate business and many individuals are also investing in the various programmes and projects of the organisation.
