Who is KZN CMD?
Within the NPO (non-profit organisations) sector, KZN CMD stands as a faith based organisation-rendering services in all areas of the welfare field.

The organisation renders various social services to people in all age groups – from the cradle to the grave. These welfare services are categorized in development services, therapeutic services and institutional care. Through its children’s homes, centre for the aged and 15 social work offices, the organisation reaches annually 25 000 people in need. Approximately 230 personnel and 440 volunteers do this.

Areas of Service Delivery
Prevention, intervention and after care services are rendered in the following areas of operation:

• Child and Family Care
• Care for the Aged
• Children’s Homes (institutional care for children)
• Health Care (especially HIV/AIDS)
• Chemical Dependency (alcohol and drugs)
• Poverty Alleviation.
